Aria looked up again, this time shocked. The creature descended from the skies and landed it's claws onto the sand. Its razor-sharp claws sank into the golden brown sand. Aria watched it with wide-opened eyes.
The creature bent its head towards the sand and closed its gleaming eyes. Aria stepped, thinking it might release balls of flame into every corner it could find. But to Aria's amaze, it lifted its head with minor effort, opened its gigantic mouth and pointed it upwards. Its eyes flashed for a second and a stream of blueish-white substance, more likely ice, began firing into the skies.
The scorching desert sky gradually turned darker and darker. The atmosphere began to freeze. Aria gazed at the sky, saw little puffs of cold cotton float towards her. It was snowing!
She couldn't believe herself, a desert became a snow wonderland! She sucked in air and smiled. This reminded her of Rouldon, well, the REAL Rouldon. The cool air immediately freshened Aria's thoughts. She quickly shifted her attentions onto the creature. It stood there, still. It looked exhausted. Aria walked slowly towards the creature.
Aria froze.
The creature fell onto the cool sand with a loud 'thump'. It lied there, didn't move. Slowly, bit by bit, the diamonds of the creature fell off its body. Soon, the creature's body was blank. All Aria could see is a dark, ugly creature lying where the beautiful creature lied earlier.
The body faded away, just like those spirits in sci-fi movies. Part by part, it vanished. So did the diamonds. A door appeared. Right at the center. Aria ran towards the door, terrified. She dashed through the door, eyes closed. Tears and emotions filled her.
She wished that that was the last test.
The creature reminded her of the person she loved most, her mother.
